Biography

Dr. Vijay Khare is a distinguished academician and researcher in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering, specializing in machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, fuzzy logic, and biomedical signal processing. He earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2013, with a thesis focused on Functional Neuroelectric Mapping of Alpha dynamics of Imagery Task: An Optimal System for physically challenged .He holds an M.Tech in Instrumentation and Control from NSIT, New Delhi, and a B.E. in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Smart Ashok Technical Institute (Vidisha) Barkatullah University, Bhopal.

With over 25 years of teaching experience, Dr. Khare is currently a Professor at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, where he has served in multiple academic and administrative capacities, including Ph.D. Coordinator, M.Tech Coordinator, and Group Head of the Signal Processing Research group. He has supervised numerous Ph.D. and M.Tech theses and guided over 100 undergraduate projects.

Research Highlights

Dr. Khare has contributed extensively to research, authoring over 70 international journal papers and conference publications in reputed venues such as Springer, Elsevier, and IEEE. His work spans FPGA power estimation, biomedical image analysis, brain-computer interfaces, and intelligent systems. He holds granted and published patents in areas including energy harvesting devices, assistive technologies, and communication systems.

An active contributor to the academic community, Dr. Khare has organized and participated in numerous conferences, FDPs, and workshops, and serves as a reviewer for several international journals. His career reflects a deep commitment to innovation, interdisciplinary research, and the application of emerging technologies for societal benefit.
