Dr. Alok Joshi’s primary research focuses on OFDM and various issues associated with it, like PAPR, ICI mitigation and BER performance analysis in various fading environment like Rayleigh, Ricean, Nakagami-m fading. Recent work associated with alpha kappa mu fading analysis and BER performance of OFDM system in presences of it. His study also included various diversity schemes and their performance in fading environments. His research work also consists of QOS improvement wireless sensor networks using Enhanced Leach protocol, work primarily based on cluster head selection using various novel methods which in turns lead to better network life time and QOS improvement. His work includes 15 SCI/Scopus Journals, 6 Scopus book chapters, 21 IEEE/Springer/Scopus conference publication, 1 Patent (published). He is currently working closely with DOT-GOI implementing various schemes for university students. He is instrumental in installation and managing 5G Use case Lab at JIIT, Noida. He is also working on sponsored project of coal India and IMD-GPI.
