Biography

Dr. Neha Bhadauria is a seasoned academician and researcher in Mechanical Engineering, with over 16 years of experience. She has received B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D degree in Mechanical Engineering. She joined Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, in July 2025and is working as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering & Design, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. Before joining Jaypee she had worked at KIET Group of Institutions for 16 years. Her academic contributions include the design and implementation of an innovative course titled Design and Realization, which integrates theoretical knowledge with hands-on lab sessions in 2D/3D design, CAM, and additive manufacturing. As the Divisional Head of the Graphics & Design Lab and Subject Head for the Design & Realization Lab, she has implemented creative curriculum delivery and introduced effective assessment and evaluation strategies while following student-centric assessment methods and following the OBE practices. Dr. Bhadauria is an expert in curriculum development, outcome-based education, NBA/NAAC accreditation processes, and faculty training in areas such as Solid Mechanics, AutoCAD, and Product Design. Her dynamic leadership in student engagement, academic events, and interdisciplinary collaborations marks her as a prominent figure in mechanical design education.

Research Highlights

Dr. Neha Bhadauria’s research primarily focuses on welding technology, surface coatings, aluminium composites, friction stir processing, and additive manufacturing. Her work has addressed fabrication and characterization of lightweight alloys, parameter optimization, and evaluation of wear and mechanical behavior. She has published more than 15 research papers in reputed journals and conferences, contributed book chapters and presented her research work at several international conferences. Her contributions also include patents in areas of welding and surface modification technologies. In recognition of her academic work, she has received awards at conferences and successfully secured research funding from DRDO for organizing workshop. She also serves as a reviewer for international journals and conferences, supporting the wider research community. Alongside research, she has contributed to curriculum development and actively mentored student projects that integrate modern manufacturing and design tools. Future work will explore the integration of computational and intelligent tools in welding and additive manufacturing, further development of lightweight composites for engineering applications, and advancement of sustainable processing techniques to address emerging industrial challenges.
