
Dr. Ila Joshi is an Assistant Professor at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. She holds a PhD and M.Phil. in International Relations from the Centre for East Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, specializing in China studies, with her doctoral research focusing on women migrant workers and citizenship issues in China.
With over a decade of teaching and research experience, Dr. Joshi has previously served at Amity Law School, Delhi, and Christ (Deemed) University. Her teaching expertise spans Political Theory, Western Political Thought, Indian Government and Politics, International Relations, and International Humanitarian Law. She is a recipient of the prestigious Chinese Government and MHRD,India scholarship (2013–2015) as a senior research scholar in Shandong University,China. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Urdu, with working knowledge of Mandarin, Dr. Joshi brings a global and comparative perspective to her teaching and scholarship.
