Biography

Dr. Purwa Srivastava is a finance academician with over 8 years of teaching experience and 3.5 years in the banking sector. She has taught subjects such as Financial Management, Security Analysis, Financial Accounting, and Financial Modelling at institutions including Amity University (Noida), NorthCap University (Gurugram), and ABES Engineering College (Ghaziabad). She has published several research papers in Scopus, SSCI, ESCI, and ABDC-indexed journals, focusing on financial markets, institutional investor behavior, and stock price dynamics. Dr. Srivastava co-authored a book on the Silver Economy (2025) and holds a design patent for an AI-based payroll kiosk. She has presented papers at international conferences and has organized national workshops on Power BI and research methods. She has to her credit ICSSR-funded projects on financial inclusion and social security. Her work integrates econometric modelling, financial policy analysis, and fintech innovations for inclusive development.

Her work also examines the role of financial institutions in promoting inclusion and effective policy. With expertise in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Financial Management, she bridges academic theory with practical economic applications. Dr. Srivastava’s studies contribute to a deeper understanding of capital market dynamics, institutional efficiency, and strategic financial decision-making in emerging economies.
