Biography

Dr. Shikha Jain is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, India. She obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from JIIT and is also UGC-NET qualified. She has more than 22 years of teaching and research experience. She is currently serving as the Program Coordinator for the M.Tech (CSE) program. Dr. Jain has successfully guided 3 Ph.D. scholars, 13 M.Tech theses, and more than 100 B.Tech projects.. Dr. Jain is an active member of professional bodies including IAENG and IFERP.

Research Highlights

Dr. Shikha Jain has authored and edited several publications, including the book “Code Factory” (BPB Publications) and two edited volumes published by Elsevier and Bentham. Her research work has been featured in reputed journals and conferences. She has served as Guest Editor for journals such as the International Journal of Information Retrieval Research and International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks. In addition, she has delivered numerous invited talks and has been actively involved as a reviewer, technical program committee member, session chair, and advisory board member for various academic conferences, journals, and book projects. She has served as an external reviewer for the research proposal submitted to 2019 FONDECYT Initiation into Research, Chile, US.
