Biography

Dr. Kavita Pandey is currently working as an Associate Professor at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology(JIIT), Noida, with over 21 years of teaching and research experience in Computer Science & Engineering, contributing significantly to academics, publications, and academic administration. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from JIIT in 2017, M.Tech.(CSE) from Banasthali Vidyapeeth University, and B.Tech.(CSE) from M.D. University, Haryana. Currently, she is supervising two Ph.D. students, and one has successfully completed their Ph.D. under her guidance. She has mentored 18 M.Tech. thesis/industrial projects and over 62 undergraduate projects.

Research Highlights

Dr. Kavita Pandey research mainly contributes to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IoT, Intelligent Transportation system and Healthcare informatics. She has published 70+ peer-reviewed articles in international journals, conferences, and book chapters. She is the author of the book “Code Factory” and editor of two books: “Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Mental Health in Pandemics: A Computational Approach” and “The Future of Agriculture: IoT, AI, and Blockchain Technology for Sustainable Farming”. She also holds a published patent and contributed to IGNOU study material on “Data Communications and Computer Networks”. She served as Guest Editor for the special issue “Advances in Computational Intelligence and Applications” in the International Journal of Information Retrieval Research (IJIRR), IGI Global (ESCI, Web of Science), and is an Academic Editor on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks (Wiley) since April, 2019. She reviews for several reputed journals including Elsevier, Inderscience, and IEEE Access, and is an active TPC member of various conferences.
