Biography

Dr Kanupriya Misra Bakhru is a seasoned academician and researcher with over 16 years of corporate and academic experience. Her research interests include Competency Mapping, Human Resource Analytics, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Higher Education and Entrepreneurship. She has published many research papers in International indexed journals, authored many book chapters and presented papers in international conferences. Apart from publishing she has editorial experience also as she has been Handling Editor for 5 reputed Scopus indexed journals. She is Editorial Board Member of Journals like Humanities and Social Sciences Communications (Springer Nature), Heliyon Business and Management (Elsevier), Journal of Family Business Management (Emerald) and Journal of Enterprising Communities: People and Places in the Global Economy (Emerald). She has been invited as Session chair at many International Conferences. She has also conducted interactive workshops and MDPs on “Leadership” and Personality Development. She has been actively organizing workshops, international conference, seminars and talks in her Institution. In addition to it she has guided many research scholars in their PhD work. Two scholars have been awarded PhD and four scholars are pursuing their doctoral work under her guidance. Apart from it she is also member of Doctoral Program Monitoring and Advisory Committee of many research scholars. She has contributed to the University with responsibilities as Department PhD coordinator, Member of Board of Studies, NAAC Criteria 1 coordinator, NSS Program Officer and Central IQAC member of Research Committee. She believes in continuously evolving herself as a teacher and a learner.

Dr Kanupriya Bakhru’s research highlights demonstrate significant contributions in Human Resource Management (HRM), Organizational Behaviour, and Higher Education, with a strong publication record including over 25 Scopus-indexed articles. The work focuses on key areas such as competency mapping, emotional capital, teacher effectiveness, and entrepreneurial intention. Recent studies emphasize the strategic role of emotional capital in enhancing sustainable organizational performance. Her academic mentoring includes supervision of several PhD scholars covering diverse topics such as eudemonic well-being, entrepreneurial intention, emotional capital, organizational commitment etc. Her editorial roles in the Humanities and Social Sciences Communications (Springer Nature), Heliyon Business and Management (Elsevier), Journal of Family Business Management (Emerald) and Journal of Enterprising Communities: People and Places in the Global Economy (Emerald) reflect her standing in the research community. Additional contributions include multiple book chapters and international conference presentations, addressing topics such as gendered poverty, Industry 5.0 skill development, and innovative teaching methodologies. The research portfolio reflects a balanced integration of theoretical depth and practical relevance, aligned with emerging themes such as digital transformation, emotional well-being, and sustainable development. Recognition through best paper awards, invited talks, and leadership roles in academic forums underscores a well-established scholarly presence and a forward-thinking research agenda.
