Dr. Ekta Srivastava is currently an Assistant Professor Grade II at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida. She has previously worked at Jaypee University Anoopshahr, Galgotias University, and several engineering colleges in Delhi NCR and Uttar Pradesh. She has over 19 years of experience in higher education, specializing in English Literature and Communication. She holds a D.Phil in English from the University of Allahabad, where she completed her doctoral research on “Feminine Sensibility in the Works of Anita Desai.” Her academic foundation includes an M.A. and B.A. in English Literature, both secured with First Division from the same university. She has created and instructed a wide variety of courses, such as English, Professional Communication, Business Communication, Introduction to Literature, Literature & Adaptation and Soft Skills. National and international publications on feminist literature, diaspora studies, and narrative intersections in literature and adaptation are among her scholarly accomplishments. She has co-edited a special issue of the peer-reviewed journal Re-Markings, organized an international conference on Translation Studies, and given presentations at conferences in India and abroad. She has also been involved in various administrative duties as Language Lab Coordinator and Secretary of the Internal Complaints Committee. She has led the Student Literary Club, planned faculty development programs, and conducted workshops on gender sensitization. She is a dedicated teacher and scholar who looks forward to motivating peers and students with her love of literature, communication studies and innovative pedagogies.
