Dr. Ashish Mishra is an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, India. He joined the Institute in the year 2019, and since then he has been associated with academics and research activities at the university level.He completed his Ph.D. in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (NIT-Bhopal) in Bhopal. With over 15+ years of experience in teaching, research, and administration, he also served as the head of the Department of CS/IT for 4 years.

He successfully established and currently managing the NVIDIA’A DGX Workstation (High-Performance Computing Machine) at JIIT Noida. Moreover, he was a key member of the committee responsible for establishing the Ramanujan Universe- A supercomputing facility at JIIT Noida. Currently, he is the Zonal Coordinator of Ramanujan Universe.

His research interests include Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Medical Image Segmentation, GPU Computing, Energy Efficient Computing on GPU, and Edge Computing. Currently, He is supervising 3 PhD scholars. Under his guidance 10 MTech Thesis/Industrial projects and more than 150+ major projects completed. He is a member of ACM and IEEE. He is associated with various journals as a reviewer which are of high standards.
