Biography

Presently, working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Main Campus, Noida. I have been a part of the JIIT faculty since December 2013 and brings with over 22 years of teaching experience in higher education.

Before joining JIIT, I served in various academic roles at Sharda University, Vishveshwarya Institute of Technology, and Anand Engineering College, contributing significantly to the academic and professional development of students.

I earned my Master’s degree in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee and completed his Ph.D. from Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow.

My research interests lie in the field of image processing and applied mathematics, with a particular focus on:

  • Image enhancement and segmentation
  • Image authenticity
  • Video watermarking
  • Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD)
  • Wavelet applications

Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed to both teaching and research, and continues to contribute to advancements in mathematical techniques for image and signal processing.

Research Highlights

Over the course of my research, I have extensively employed wavelet-based techniques to address complex problems in both magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) and image compression. My work has also involved developing wavelet-based solutions for image and video watermarking, focusing on improving robustness and security.

In recent years, my research has expanded into the field of medical image processing, particularly in enhancement and segmentation of medical images to support more accurate diagnosis and analysis.

As part of collaborative research efforts, I have also contributed to solving problems related to nanofluids, where we integrated machine learning approaches to model and optimize fluid behavior in advanced engineering systems.
